Textile work from 2019, I carried on exploring both wet felted pieces of all shapes and sizes and tapestry weavings inspired by a wide range of subjects.

Both wet felted wall pieces, like the large one shown to the right. I also began to explore tapestry weaving, starting with some small mounted pieces and then doing some larger ones that would hang on beach driftwood unframed.

A lot of my recent work has been exploring appliqué with a range of fabrics and hand stitching. A series of small pieces inspired by Japanese prints using hand dyed fabrics with painting/ stencilling/fabrics and embroidery.

Also some felt pieces with fabrics, thread & bead embellishment .
